Forumwide Rules and Code of Conduct
« on: October 03, 2009, 08:30:17 PM »
No spamming/flooding
This is when several threads or posts are made in a short time, with no apparent purpose or reason. As you might expect, it's very disruptive and is frowned upon by the community. Depending on the severity of the offence, you risk receiving a forumwide (and possibly server) ban.

Be respectful at all times
Pay all members to the board the respect they deserve. All members are equal here, regardless of their server or forum rank. No offensive, insulting, vulgar or profane remarks are permitted.

Don't impersonate other members
We can track the identity of those registered on the forum against those who have played on the server - so trying to impersonate a fellow player won't get you very far. This includes normal members, and members with positions of authority.

Don't use other accounts to conduct malicious behaviour or bypass bans
Creating alternate accounts solely for the reason of being an ass is not permitted. Creating another account to bypass an issued ban is also forbidden.

Illegal content is not permitted in any form whatsoever, including discussion and distrubution
Illegal content, including but not limited to "warez", "cracks", ROMs, child pornography, whatever. It's not allowed here.

No inappropriate content in signatures or avatars
Offensive, illegal, or forbidden content is not permitted in your signature or avatar.

Don't advertise other websites or servers
Posting a link or IP relevant to the nature of the discussion is fine, however spamming or linking to other servers and websites for no other reason than advertising is not permitted.

Try not to double post
Posting twice in a row, whether to update information or 'bump' a topic is not allowed. Please use the edit button.

Stay on topic at all times
Keep posts relevant to the topic of the thread.
